Blue Room

Dear Parents of the Blue Room:

CUBBIES-
We use ziploc bags for the children to store an extra set of clothing. We need extra shirts, pants, underwear and socks with childs name clearly marked on each item.
Cubbies Need to be checked every day!

Nap Time-
Children need to have a crib size fitted sheet & a blanket. Every Friday the bedding is put in the cubbies for you to take home and wash and bring back Monday. If your child is here only two days a week, we still need the bedding washed every week.

Stamp Fiary-
The stamp fairy comes around everyday at nap time and will give the children a special stamp on their hand for being a good napper.

Activities-
Our activities. are designed to help your children, develop social skills, large and smaff muscle skills,language skills and intellectual skills. We'll be doing lots of science, music, creative art, cooking, and dramatic play activities as well as many other activities. We hope that through these activities your children will develop a sense of self assurance and positive feeling about themselves as they grow and develop. In the Blue Room we have Rug Time everyday. Rug Time consists of stories, songs, games; language skills, recognizing the letters in their names, counting and learning all about our special weekly themes.

Share Days-
Thursday and Friday are Share Days.Your child may bring in a special toy, pictures, or anything they would like to share with the clas at our Rug Time. Each child stands up in front of the class by the teacher and tells the class all about their share item. The toys or items brought to school on share day are the responsibilies of you and your child, not the schools or the teachers. Please do not let your children bring toys on any other' day. If they are really insistent, then let them show their teacher their toy, but then it needs to be returned to the car.
Note: No toy Guns of any kind!

Chapel Day-
We have chapel every Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. with Pastor.
